As a musician and lyricist, he is deeply passionate about connecting with people through genuine emotions and words that they can relate to. He has a distinctive style, which blurs the lines between a wide range of genres. From Hip-Hop, to R&B and even some shades of modern Neo-Soul, anything goes! KEEL’s passion for music goes a long way back. He joined O.W. Holmes Elementary school choir at the young age of 8, and never looked back. By the time he was only 14, he was already doing his first raps, and he continued to deepen his skills and love of hip-hop. Ultimately, he became an extremely intuited lyricist, who perfected his ability to combine the energy of hip-hop, with the infectious hooks of R&B. As a result, KEEL’s style can be described as melodic and appealing, but also incredibly energetic and electrifying. His most recent release, “Can I Come Over,” actually stands as a perfect example of KEEL’s ability to craft a stunning ensemble of words through R&B while building a unique personal style. In addition, the quality of his production is also outstanding, as his music is endowed with all the clarity and punch that you would expect to find in some of the best records on the scene.
