The team at MusicallyMilked had the pleasure of having a chat with the infamous T.J THA Producer about life, music, and the influence he has on the music industry. A glimpse into a producer’s mind before he or she produces a fire track is always an interesting way to discover where the flame of desire came from. In some cases, it’s a natural talent, in others they’ve found a second home in a beat laboratory, tweaking mixer settings until they ignite the flame.
There is no doubt that legends such as Dr.Dre and Jermaine Dupri have made hiphop steps to captivate the attention of the masses, paving the way for others such as T.J. the Producer to follow, or maybe he has always led the way, polishing his diamonds until he drops them.
This is what we found out when we spoke with the jedi master in the studio:
What first got you into music?
When I took band seriously in high school and went to college to become a music producer, I guess I started to like instrumentals, which motivated me to create music. The feeling of hearing a beat and wondering, at the same time, whether I could improve it was natural.
My brain was filled with that same beat, like an itch, all day, and the only cure was to get into the studio. I guess it has been with me a long time.
Who would you like to collaborate with?
Among all the people I would like to collaborate with, there are so many that I am open to. My dream is to collaborate with Glorilla, Lil Nas X, DJ Khaled, and many more artists in the future. The industry is brimming with talent right now, with an all-star lineup of artists who would make a banger together.
What is one message you have for your fans?
My current projects don’t have a lot of fans, but I appreciate your support. Stay tuned for more. At the moment, I’m on my hustle, but you’ll remember the name ..
Do you sing in the shower?
Oh no I don’t sing in the shower .
How do you feel the internet has impacted the music industry?
There is no doubt in my mind that the internet has made a significant impact on the music industry. As a result of the platform, many artists have been able to showcase their talents and materials on a number of different platforms. Artists have to be social media experts while being artists, which is a whole new realm.
What’s next for you?
You’ll see new videos and material soon that I’m currently working on. The year 2023 has big plans for T.J The Producer, on some big FACTs…
